Class Party!

When all the students are doing a good job following our classroom expectations of being responsible, respectful, safe, and fun, they get a tally mark. When they reach 10 tally marks, we get to have a classroom party. Our first party they chose was an ice cream party! Great job first graders!

We took a nice Fall walk with our 4th grade big buddies. While we were walking, the students did a scavenger hunt. We had fun exploring all the interesting things in nature!

Domino Train Game

Students had fun playing domino train with their partner.  They had to match up their dominos to try to make a nice long train with their partner! 

We have so much fun playing with our friends at recess time! 

Read to Someone

This week we practiced a daily 5 station called Read to Someone. Students practiced each reading their own book to a partner. They did a great job! 

We did a fun activity on Friday where students got to know each other a little better! Students brought in 5 items to share about themselves with their peers. 

We really enjoyed getting to know our 4th grade big buddies from Mrs. Kleins class! We meet with them every Friday to do fun activities and projects. 

The students loved trying out all the flexible seating options around our classroom! Some sat on scoop rockers and wobbly stools while others enjoyed trying out the standing desks.
